Current Photography students at USW (Caerleon Campus) are looking forward to welcoming Chris Harrison this Thursday.

Chris was born in Jarrow, England in 1967. After leaving School at 15 Chris had numerous jobs before taking a Degree in Photography at Trent Polytechnic.
Supporting himself first as a Photojournalist and more recently as a Commercial Photographer Chris has also found time to study for a Masters Degree at the Royal college of Art.
Chris´ personal work has been exhibited at the Arles photography Festival, France, The Imperial War Museum, London and many other venues around the world.
Chris´ work was represented at the Tate Gallery in London as part of the show, “How We Are”, Photographing Britain, 1839 to the present.
Other noted projects and publications include: ‘What even happened to Audra Patterson?’, ‘Under the Hood’, ‘Noblesse Oblige’.
His most recent book “I belong Jarrow” was published this year by Shilt to great critical acclaim.
Chris is currently the Bradford Fellow for Photography 2013 and his resulting Show ‘Copper Horses’ opened in November this year.”
