BA(Hons) Photographic Art have been awarded a CELT Learning Innovation Grant 2014, to go towards this years graduate publication.
CELT Learning Innovation Grants, coordinated through the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) enable staff and students – working in partnership – to instigate projects to enhance learning and teaching benefiting the whole University community. An important aspect of the CELT Learning Innovation Grants is that the students lead the projects – rather than being passive recipients of the learning experience.
The course put forward this years production of the graduate publication, being designed for the first time by a student from the final year cohort, Oliver Norcott. Oliver has worked closely with course leader Peter Bobby and Photoart alumni Matt Colquhoun, to create an exciting 156page publication that presents the work of 35 graduating students.
The book will be launched from a mobile Library that will stop at 4 locations on Friday 30th May. In order, these will be: Spike Island, Bristol; The Riverfront Arts Centre, Newport; Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff; and the Atrium Campus, Cardiff.
